Products Services - Supplier not searchable

Why is the Preferred Supplier not searchable in the Products/Services page?

As previous users of QBDT,  we were able drill down / filter ITEMS to narrow down a search AND search by Preferred Supplier.  THis isn't an option on QBO even though Preferred Supplier is a field!

Also, looking to bulk import products and services but Preferred Supplier is not an import option.

Categories and subcatergories are not importable either contrary to what it says in the article below:

Adding an option to sort or filter the items using the preferred supplier associated with the items would be great. It'll surely help you navigate QuickBooks easily, like in QuickBooks Desktop. However, it's unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

And, yes, you're also right that system won't include suppliers when importing the items. Based on the details provided in the article, we need a particular format to import them with categories. We can download the sample file to get details on what information you can import in your book. Gear icon> Import> Download a sample file.

 

I highly encourage sending your valuable suggestion to our product developers. They'll evaluate your idea and might add it to the product updates. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.

Thanks Sarah for confirming filtering or sorting Preferred Supplier is not an option.

I didn't need the articles you listed as I am already using those methods from which my point about preferred suppliers originated from.
