QB Online stopping support for their 1 app smh

In another bold move, the devs decide to do away with the 1 app they were in charge of supporting and now are going to complete rely on third party browsers like Chrome to be involved anytime you type in your sensitive client data.  Its time to run, not walk, from quickbooks online and their terrible dev support.  We get no fixes and are forced to apply updates that further break the things that were working.  I've warned my desktop users (of which I have many) not to upgrade to quickbooks online because of a terrible track record of having enough data center rental space to handle the load at year end which Intuit proves over and over that they are incapable of preparing for, and then discontinuing support for the Windows app, their only native app.  Freshbooks or other accounting systems should be considered if you can move to it, Intuit can't even mail in an effort here.

Hello, @dontbuyonline.

Thank you for coming to the Community to share your QuickBooks Online feedback. It's truly valuable for us to understand how this change impacts you and your business. We always do our best to grant our customers' needs and preferences when making decisions like this one. I understand that in this case, it took apart some important features for you like what you experience in the desktop version.

I highly encourage leaving feedback and giving us hints on what we can do to improve your experience with QuickBooks Online within the browser. Here's how to do that: How do I submit feedback? Our development team regularly reviews these submissions to guide future roadmap changes.

They are very much listening! Again, thank you for taking the time to share with us, and please let me know if there's anything I can do to support you here in the Community.

@dontbuyonline

Do you have any legit reference to your claim?

There are many options in the market to replace your QBO account. Contact us should you need to purchase a 3rd party conversion service.

Are you claiming that QB has worked perfectly during any year end when the demand spikes?  Are you really defending this and need data to support?  You should try asking any actual user of the product what has been like every December in the past, no need to apologize if you're new here.

@dontbuyonline

No product is perfect and I won't defending anyone. As I said earlier, you may contact us to purchase a 3rd party conversion service. Hopefully you are not just a troll.
