Hi,

we have 12 accounts on QBO for our foreign branches. Beafore opening a new company, I need to know if QBO is compatible with Saudi Arabia invoicing system and if we need integrations to make it work.

Thanks in advance.

I'll share some insights on the compatibility of the invoicing system in QuickBooks, mciarrocca.

QuickBooks Online does not currently offer direct integration with the UAE VAT agency. However, you can manually set up a VAT agency and tax rates. Let me guide you through these steps:

  1. On the left panel, select Taxes.
  2. Click on Set up tax.
  3. Fill out the form and enter TRN.
  4. Check the Tax collected on Sales box if the tax rates will be used for sales.
  5. Choose the Tax collected on Purchases if you are going to use tax rates for bills and expense.
  6. Select, Save and done.

For additional details on setting up sales tax, see this article: How do I set up sales GST/VAT rates and use them on forms? (International QBO).

Check this reference on how QuickBooks calculates sales tax when you make a sale: Learn how QuickBooks Online calculates sales tax.

Just let me know if you need any assistance. You can add a response below. I'd be happy to help you with anything.

Hi @AnaRose_Q and thanks for the answer. So I just need to set the taxes parameters, and QBO is compatible with KSA (Saudi Arab) invoicing system?
