We need to download QB data to migrate it to Tallyprime but our subscription is expired and we are not able to migrate it through the utility developed by Tallyprime

Hello there, Rahul Kumar. I'll help you with downloading your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data so you can migrate it to your third-party software successfully.

 

Once your subscription is expired, you have read-only access to your data for a year after the cancellation date. If the year is not yet over, you can export your data to Excel.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then select Export Data under Tools.
  3. Set the date range on the Reports tab.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  5. Tap on Export to Excel.

 

You'll be prompted with confirmation that the data has been exported. Your reports will include the data from posting transactions such as invoices, receipts, bills, balances, and others. To export non-posting information that's not included in your reports and lists, you can follow the instructions provided in this article: Export data, reports, lists, and more from QuickBooks Online.

 

After that, migrate them to Tallyprime manually.

 

However, if you no longer have access to your account, you may contact QBO Support to recover your data.

 

  1. Open this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-global/contact.
  2. Type in your concern, then Continue.
  3. Choose a way to connect with a live agent.

Hi Angelyn_T,

 

Migrating of QB data from excel to Tallyprime is not possible/ or it may require us to assign the task to any third party software engineer.

 

The Utility developed by Tallyprime to migrate the data from QB ( active company) to Tallyprime took only few minutes to migrate each basic details of accounting transactions. 

 

We are looking for, if QB customer can help us to active the company only for few hours / day, it will save our lot of efforts and time.

Thank you for getting back, Rahul Kumar. Let me share additional options on how to migrate your data from our system.

 

Yes, you can temporarily reactivate your account to achieve your goal.

 

  1.  Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then Account and settings.
  3. Go to Billing & subscription, then select Resubscribe.
  4. Enter the updated payment account and company billing information.
  5. Follow the onscreen pop-ups.

Then, cancel it automatically after you transfer your data. If you receive charges, you may contact Support. This way, they'll be able to review your account securely and process the possible refund.
