We understand that each business has unique needs, and each version of QuickBooks has unique features.    

I understand the importance of having tag feature in QuickBooks International. However, this is currently unavailable. 

Our product engineers are working diligently for updates and improvements on the features. For now, I recommend sending your feedback straight to our dedicated team to help make changes to QuickBooks capability. Your suggestions and ideas will help us stay in tune with what our customers need, want, and expect. Here's how:  

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
2. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Select Feedback under Profile.
4. Share your feedback.
5. Hit Next.  

As a work around, you can use the class tracking feature to get more details into your sales, expenses, or profitability for each part of your business. Please note that you can do this in QuickBooks Online Plus. To start with, you'll have to turn this option on the Account and Settings page.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon and tap Account and Settings.
2. Select the Advanced tab. Then, choose the Categories section to edit.
3. Check Track classes and also Warn me when a transaction isn't assigned a class. This is optional, but it's good to turn on, so when you look at reports, you know everything got classified.
4. Under Assign classes, choose One to entire transaction or One to each row in transaction.
5. Click Save and Done.

What kind of segmentation do you need. If you are using QBO Plus, you can utilize the class tracking, location tracking and project feature.
