Let’s review the setup of your currency (TND) to check if there’s an amount entered in the rate field.

Before performing any troubleshooting steps, may I know if you’re looking at the Currencies screen or opening a transaction? Any information you can provide will help determine the cause of the issue.

While waiting for the details, let me help and guide you on how to get to the Currencies screen. It only takes a few steps to do this in your company.

Here’s how:

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), navigate to the Gear icon in the upper right to choose All lists.
  2. Performing these steps will take you to the Lists screen.
  3. Click the Currencies link to view more information.
  4. From there, look for TND and click the Edit currency exchange link to check the settings for Market rate or Your rate.

If there’s a rate entered in the field box, run the browser troubleshooting steps. This is to test if the webpage cache is preventing the amount from showing up.

To start, sign in to QBO via private window or incognito mode. Then check the currency settings from there. Follow the steps below on how to bring up one.

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari).

If you’re able to see 2.8 in the rate box, clear the cache of your regular browser to start fresh. Also, this process will optimize the performance of the application. If the issue persists, utilize a supported browser to check if the one you’re using is the issue.
