Question

1099 Question Does Quickbooks have the capability to file 1099s with any state? I know it files to the IRS but my concern is with the actual state. Please let me know.

Welcome to the Community, Linda!

I'm here to provide some insights on how to file 1099s in any state.

Please note that the 1099 E-file service is only for federal 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC filings. If you need more information about which states require a 1099 filing or support combined filings, you can visit this article: File your state 1099 forms. Also, you can contact your state for more information and to learn how to file. Additionally, you can download a copy within QuickBooks Online (QBO) and process it outside the program.

Here's an article that can help you get answers to your 1099 questions: Get answers to your 1099 questions.

Please return to this thread if you have any other concerns besides filing 1099s to any state. I'm always ready to assist.
