When upgrading or installing a newer version of QuickBooks Desktop, the system will prompt give you an option to keep old software on your computer.

Since 2016 version disappear on your end, I'll share are a few steps you can take to address this issue. Firstly, try searching for the program on your computer to see if it can be located in a different directory. Here's how:

1. Open the Start menu by clicking the Windows icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
2. Type "QuickBooks" into the search bar. This will bring up a list of QuickBooks-related programs and files on your computer.
3. Look for the QuickBooks 2016 program in the list. It may be listed as "QuickBooks 2016" or "QB 2016" or something similar.
4. If you don't see the QuickBooks 2016 program in the search results, you may need to look in a different directory.

 If the issue persists, you can download the installer from website. Then, reinstall the QuickBooks 2016 program.
