Welcome and thanks for dropping by the Community, @grahamt.

After accepting the invitation sent from a client, you should be able to see them in your Client's List in QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA). To check if the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources, causing some unusual responses, try signing into your QB using a private browser (incognito).

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, go back to the Client's List to double-check.

If it's there, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Just in case, I'll add this article for future reference: Add a new client in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

I can see msg after invitation:

Choose the accounting firm you wish to use to accept this invitation.

I can't see firm name(Client name) in the list.

Thanks for joining the thread, @SonalJ. I know how important this is for you to get an invitation from your client. I'll make sure to help you with this.

When clients invite you to become their accountant, they want to connect their QuickBooks company file with your firm to help them review or modify their book. Since you can't see your client's firm when you try to accept the invite, we can perform some steps to remedy it.

If done with the basic browser troubleshooting steps shared by my colleague FritzF above, and still get the same concern. Let's ensure your client has sent the invite link to the email address you use to sign in with your company file. If not, you can change the email address. Then reach out to your client and ask them to delete the invite so they can send a new invitation link to the correct email you used to sign with your QuickBooks Online firm. I'll share the steps below on how your client can remove the invite.

Here's how:

  1. A client needs to sign in as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Manage Users.
  3. Choose the Accounting Firms tab.
  4. They can Look for their accountant firm.
  5. In the Action column, select the small dropdown icon and then Delete. If found any duplicate invites, they can delete those.

For reference, check this article: What to do if you can't accept client invites in QuickBooks Online Accountant.

After all that, and you still get the same concern, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Support Team so that they can add you to the list of affected users. This way, you'll get notified once there's a fix or an update about this issue.

I'll be including these articles for future use:
