A customer sent me a 1099. I have QuickBooks online, signed in when receiving email with option to view 1099 and cannot find it. Very convoluted way to view a 1099

Hi there, billbeaupre. I see you received an email notification that your 1099 tax form is available. Allow me to help you locate and view the tax form.

The 1099 is going to be uploaded in QuickBooks Self-Employed. It's a different website from where you normally log in when working in QBO. 

Here's how:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
2. Go to the Clients menu.
3. Select the Forms tab.

This is where you can view, print, or download your 1099 that was sent to you by your client.
