I understand that resolving this issue is of utmost importance to you, money6. You can rest assured I'll be with you in this.

First and foremost, it is crucial that we verify the authenticity of the email you received. QuickBooks provides various services that enhance your QuickBooks Online experience, and each of these services has its own email address. To ensure that you receive all important communications from these services, it is recommended that you add their email addresses as safe senders to your email account.

If the email you received is not from Intuit, it is imperative that you report the matter immediately to Intuit Support . Our team can help you determine whether the email is from Intuit or a possible phishing attempt that needs to be forwarded to our security team for evaluation. At Intuit, safeguarding the security of your data and transactions is our top priority.

Moreover, if you have received an email that confirms or appears to be valid and is related to QuickBooks, then I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Payments Support team. They will be able to provide you with further assistance and guidance on what steps you should take next.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Select or type Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us: Ask the community or Start a chat with a support expert.

You can contact them from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

I'll be adding this article, which you can visit anytime if you want to learn how to recognize official Intuit correspondence and websites and how to deal with suspicious emails in QBO: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud
