Question

accessing QB Desktop on Windows from Mac

Hello, my client has QB Desktop 2021 Premier installed on a [new] Windows PC as the "server" where the company file is stored

.
We are using Parallels on his Macs to sign into QB as a Windows VM.

It seems too slow. Is there better way to handle this scenario?

Thank you.

Hi there, @ivmost.

I'd recommend contacting your Parallels/Virtual Machine's customer service to assist you with which is the best setup for you not to experience a low performance.

Additionally, with the Intuit Hosting Program, you can run your QuickBooks Desktop and store your data files on a service provider's servers. This allows you to use your QuickBooks securely, anywhere and anytime.: Hosting providers authorized by Intuit.

If you need help managing your QBDT data files, don't hesitate to click the reply button. I'm always around to help!
