How do I change the direction of the Check register?

On alll Quickbooks accounts I have ever worked with the check register scrolls from the most recent at the top going down.

I am on an account new to me and it's check register is scrolling from the bottom up.  I would like to know how to change it.

I’ll share with you some information you can use for viewing your account register in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

When going to your account register, the transactions are placed or arranged from the latest or current transactions to the past transactions. However, if you want it in another way, we can sort your list to display the transactions from the oldest to the newest.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and navigate to the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select an account you want to sort.
  3. Tap the View Register under the Action column.
  4. From there, click the dropdown arrow beside the Date.

     

After that, you will now be able to see re-sorted dates of the transactions in the register. Moreover, feel free to manage this by referring to this article: Find, review, and edit transactions in account registers in QuickBooks Online.
