activate memorized transactions without opening and closing my company file

my aged pro 2016 desktop is challenging to be polite. Is there a way other than shutting down and reopening to activate the memorized transactions? I have been butting my head since early Nov.2020. I am sure there was interference by someone wishing to do the business harm. The property is t be sold but i still need to keep things up to date. First thing that happened was accountants copy option grayed out aka unavailable So CPA would be happy to work with the backup option that was available. Well that ended in total disaster. Backups and company file not to be found. Two trips to Geek Squad found enough for me to rebuild the year. Backups performed ok HP SimpleSave is now working ok but when i try to do a backup at the end of a work session it goes nutz and i spend multiple hours sometimes days getting to where i am now. i spent some time on Tuesday with QB and several hours yesterday and we really just got to the point of having to purchase 300.00 - 700.00 support. since the property is being sold the owner is nt willing to do so.the terrific feature about this program was the memorized transactions. There are over 200 accounts to invoice. Does anyone know of a way i can get this to autoinvoice without the off and on that may sink me into another morass ???

Hi there, @brendalynne29.

I appreciate the details you've shared about this issue. Let me help you get this sorted out to keep your QuickBooks running and so you can get back to your business.

This odd behavior can be because of the computer's performance that stops the QuickBooks Desktop program to operate seamlessly.

Many variables may affect the computer's performance such as the RAM needs to increase its size or the Operating System needs to be upgraded.

Another reason is when there is a competing program while running QuickBooks Desktop. I'd recommend reaching out to an IT specialist to help you check the specifications of your computer.

You may also contact our QuickBooks Desktop Technical Support Team if you need further assistance with the steps. They have additional tools to pull up your account and do a remote session.

I've added these articles to help you with the process:

I'll be here if you have other questions. Let me know in the comment section. Have a good one.
