Adding Report to Icon Bar - error

I have been trying to add an A/P Detail report to the icon bar.  I was able to add an A/R one a while ago.  But, for some reason, I am unable to add any reports to my icon bar.  I tried a couple of other reports, went throught the appropriate steps, but the won't add.  

 

Is anyone else having this issue and does anyone have any suggestions or fixes?

    Let me help you sort this out when adding report to icon bar, Bricker.

     

    May I know what specific error message are you getting? Getting an error happens when you have missing Windows or QuickBooks updates, damage to your data, computer issues and programming codes needs a repair. 

     

    First, you'll have to make sure to update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. This provides new and improved functionality while addressing existing issues, such as bugs and crashes giving greater efficiency to users. 

     

    Secondly, use QuickBooks Tool Hub to fix common issues and errors. To do so, you can download and install QuickBooks Tool Hub. Here's how:

     

    1. Close QuickBooks.
    2. Download the most recent version (1.6.0.3) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it (like your Downloads folder or your Windows desktop). Note: If you've installed Tool Hub before, you can find out which version you have. Select the Home tab. The version will be on the bottom.
    3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
    4. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
    5. When the install finishes, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.

     

    Then, use the tools to fix the issue. Please  know that each tab has set of tools has different types of problem. Ensure to use the right one for a specific scenario.     On top of that, QuickBooks allows you to customize data, by adding or deleting columns, remove some information to get the right data for your business.     I am not getting an error message, it just doesn't add an icon.  I do all of the steps required (make the report, go to View, Add ...  to icon bar, hit ok, but then nothing.
