Adds in QuickBooks Onlne

Does anyone know how to turn off the ads in QuickBooks Online? I can't get QuickBooks support to return my support call with this question. It drives me nuts to have to clear the ad for a loan each and every time I open Reports in QBO.

 

Maybe a couple of ads when I login, sure, but every time I change pages in the online app? Come on. Now, if QBO were free and ad supported, I'd get it. But when I'm paying for multiple seats monthly, this is insane.

The ads popping up are intended to make suggestions and provide instructions on how to enhance your QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience.

 

Although I am aware that the adverts could interfere with your navigation, there is presently no way to completely turn them off. The good news is that you can get rid of the pop-ups from your QuickBooks homepage by clicking the X or No, thanks buttons.

 

While the option is not yet available, I would recommend you also send this feedback directly to our product engineers. This way, they will get notified of the features that benefit the customer for their businesses.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion.
  4. Click Next to submit feedback.
