Let me help you rectify your 1099 so you can resubmit it seamlessly, bostoncha.

You can do the process again anytime after making the corrections. Let's start by reviewing your company's legal name and tax identification number. From the Contractors tab, select Prepare 1099, then Edit ✎ to see or change info.

Once done, follow the steps below to e-file your 1099 forms again:

  1. Go to Payroll on the left panel and select Contractors
  2. Click Prepare 1099s.
  3. Follow the steps to create and e-file your 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC.

Please also review and update your company's legal and contractor information, including their name, tax identification numbers, and addresses. Rest assured there are no charges when resubmitting after paying for your 1099 e-filings.
