Allowing a donor to pledge alternate amounts

We are a non-profit. We have five standard membership levels. It is easy to "invoice" a pledge amount based on prior membership level.

Is there a way or a workaround to allow a "customer" to select or change their membership level after I email the invoice to them?

The only way I can think of right now is to have them pay an alternate amount and adjust after the fact, or have them email me to change the invoice. Thanks!

Currently, there's no option in QuickBooks Online that allow donors to make changes to the invoices after receiving them from you. As a workaround, you can let them manually enter the amount to donate depending on the level of membership they want. Then, edit the invoice afterward so they would still match.

Customer feedback and suggestions play a crucial role in improving the software's functionality and meeting users' needs. I encourage you to submit a feature request about giving customers an option to select a plan when paying invoices.

 

Here's how to send feedback in QBO: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Type in your feedback and suggestions.
  3. Click Next to submit them.
