Question

Am I the only person on this planet ready to quit Quickbooks over their inability to change credits from automatically being applied every single time I go to pay a bill?

Yes I have changed my advanced settings it does zero to change this and I need to go through every single credit AND bill and uncheck allllllll the ones (I had no intention of paying) every single time - there. is. no. logic. to. this!!

We know the importance of performing all QuickBooks activities efficiently. Credits being automatically applied to bill payments despite being turned off in automation is working as designed in the QBO program. We would be pleased if you could send our software engineers feedback or a feature request regarding this matter. They will take this into account in future product improvements. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit.

 

You may, however, manually remove the credits as a workaround.

You can also run reports within your program if you want to monitor the financial standing of your business.
