API question: Adjusted_gain_loss parameter in Balance Sheet api has no effect

The balance sheet api https://developer.intuit.com/app/developer/qbo/docs/api/accounting/all-entities/balancesheet doesn't seem to return different output when adjusted_gain_loss is set to true or false. Is that a bug or am I missing something?

 

The Balance Sheet report in the ui changes when the Adjusted Gain Loss checkbox is checked or unchecked.
