Are there custom fields for products?

Good morning, @JayBlake.

At this time, there are no custom fields for products within QuickBooks Online.  However, when creating invoices or sales receipts, you can input the information under the Description column. Here's what you will do:
  1.  
  2. Open your QuickBooks Online account, then select Invoice from the (+New icon.
  3. Fill in the required details, then select the item/s under the Product/Service column.
  4. Add the code under the Description column.
  5. Save the transaction.

I understand the importance of adding a custom field to your products/services. I'm sharing this feedback with our team for future improvements within the product.

There isn't a time frame of when this will be included in your account as a feature. However, our Product Developers are reviewing every request to try to add them into the system.
