Question

Auto Created - Invoice Reminder List - not removing

Hello!
I utilize monthly reminders to create invoices off of every month because we have some customers whos amount owed changes each month. This will create a reminder on the first of the month that I can then go in and "Edit and Create".
When I used to do this, once an invoice was created from a reminder, it would remove itself from my reminders list. Now all of a sudden it does not. The only way it does is if I just simply hit "create" which doesn't allow me to edit the invoice. So once created, I have to manually *remember* to delete this reminder invoice - which the wording is strange because it only gives me the option to "Skip" - which is not what has happened with that invoice. Am I missing something??
Thanks!

Hello Workingfromhome,

Thank you for checking in with the QuickBooks Community! To rule out a browser-related issue, let's go ahead and follow the steps first. Here's how:

First, try incognito mode. Here's how:

  1. Using your Google Chrome browser, click the 3 vertical dots at the upper left corner.
  2. Choose New Incognito Window.
  3. Visit QuickBooks Online webpage. (https://quickbooks.intuit.com/)
  4. Sign in using your registered credentials.
  5. If you manage to log in, close the incognito tab.

If you are able to double check any reminders to see if it disappeared. If so, then you would be to clear your cache and cookies:

Next, clear cache and cookies:

  1. Open a regular browser (google)
  2.  We will now delete the cache and cookies:
  3. On the same 3 vertical dots at the left corner, click Settings.
  4. On the left navigation panel, choose Privacy and Security.
  5. Then, choose Clear browsing data.
  6. Under time range, select All time.
  7. Check all three options available:

                ✓ Browsing History

✓ Cookies and other site data

                ✓ Cached images and files.

note: ticking these would delete your browsing history and auto-fill passwords with other websites. Taking down notes of your passwords is advisable. If you're unsure, you can just tick cached images and files.

       8. Hit, Clear data.

Feel free to approach the Community once again if the issue persists. It would be our pleasure to assist you further.
