Balancing credit card statement when ending balance doesn't match due to discounted invoices.

If the charges in your credit card register are wrong, edit them and change them to be correct - to what was actually charged.

I actually did not correctly explain what happened.  I paid the credit card charges and some of the invoices were discounted because I paid them early.  On my statement it does not show the discounted invoice, only the full price. In the past I have just adjusted the difference off after balancing the statement but I don't think this is the correct thing to do.
