Bankfeeds error after upgrading from QB 2022 to QB 2024

Hello QB support,

We upgraded our QB enterprise from 2022 to 2024 a week ago. One of our company files has no issues but the other company file crashes when accessing bank feeds. We have checked the vendors for unaccepted special characters and tried switching bank feeds to classic view. Before switching to classic view, an error message would appear stating the following:

System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt at

AdvancedBankfeedsWorkflow.WPF.ViewModel.Helpers.QBONLI32.QBOLBCenter_ExecuteCmd(String strCmd, stXML& data) at g.a(String A_0[] A_1)

I appreciate your efforts to fix the issue with your bank feed access in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Cur2130594. Let's go through some more troubleshooting steps to help you resolve this problem.

The error you experienced usually occurs when QuickBooks attempts to access a restricted memory location or when there are user permission limitations. To fix this and get back to using your Bank Feeds Center, please follow these steps:

  1. Locate and open your QuickBooks folder in C:\ProgramData. Note that XX stands for your QuickBooks version. Example: Enterprise 19.0 = 19.
    • Enterprise: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions XX.0\components\olb\branding\filist\
  2. Find and double-click on the fiblueprint.xml file.
  3. If you can open the file, please close it and restart QuickBooks. Then, try to work on your bank feeds again.
  4. If you can’t, you need to grant full access to your profile. To do this:
    1. Right-click anywhere in the folder, then choose Properties.
    2. Go to the Security tab, then click Edit.
    3. Select Everyone in the Group or User Names section.
    4. Choose Full Control in the Permissions for Everyone section.
    5. Close the Edit and Properties windows.
    6. Restart your computer and open QuickBooks, then try working on your bank feeds again.

Please note that if you can't set the permissions, you'll need to contact your hosting provider or seek assistance from an IT professional to make the necessary updates.

Furthermore, kindly refer to Solutions 2 and 3 in the  System.TypeInitializationException section of this article if the steps above didn't work: Fix System Exception errors.

Once you’ve set up your bank feeds, begin reconciling your account to keep your financial records accurate and aligned with your bank statements. This helps pinpoint any discrepancies, errors, or unauthorized transactions.

Inform once you've completed the necessary steps to access your bank feeds. I'm available to assist you in ensuring matters are resolved satisfactorily. Looking forward to your response. Keep safe!
