I'm using EA-37 barcode scanner . It was working fine until 4 months ago when I had to update my quickbook Enterprice.
Now when I creat Invoice and using my barcode scanner still working fine, until when I want to scan one item twice ,then on quantity instead of showin 2 it shows 9 digit number.
As long as it is one quantity there is no problem. But if I scan one item twice it shows large number on quantity section.
Do you know what is the problem?

When updating QuickBooks, you can use barcodes to make data entry faster and easier in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Rodney. However, the scanner appears to be incompatible. We're here to help you understand how to use a barcode scanner in QBDT. Your scanner might have worked initially when you set it up. However, the system detected the incompatibility after you updated your QuickBooks Enterprise.

Ensure that your scanner works with QuickBooks. After assigning barcodes to items, you can scan them when buying or selling those items. You can also scan barcodes to adjust the quantity of items on hand. Make sure your scanner supports EAN-13 (International Article Number, formerly European Article Number) and Code-128 barcodes. Additionally, your scanner should produce a single carriage return at the end of the barcode.
