Bill entry

Help!  When I enter a bill, my amount in the expense line is doubling.  I will put an amount in the top portion and when I get to the expense tab it automatically doubles when I put the account number in it.  Before I have been able to scroll down several lines and find a duplicate entry (that I never put) but now it's not so easy.  I am using QB Desktop Pro Plus 2022.  This is driving me crazy!  I need help!!

I hear your sentiments about billing and expense issues with QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2022, @Georgia11_2. There's a problem with the software's automatic calculation or data entry. 

 

Ensure that your QuickBooks software is kept up to date. Software updates often include bug fixes and improvements that can address any issues or glitches you may be experiencing.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Help and select Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Select Update Now, then Get Updates.
  3. Close and reopen QuickBooks to install the update again.

 

Next, we can delete and recreate the bill to resolve the issue: Enter invoices in QuickBooks Desktop.
