Is anyone else having issues with the camps website?  First off in my QBD 2021, says I have to resubscribe to payroll, when log on to camps, it states the same thing, when select option of resubscribe, error message that it's unable to preform....WTF, this has been going on for awhile and I now have a client on 2022 and I can't even get the version????  per chat they stated there is an ongoing issue, like that's supposed to help

Hi there, @LMKetchum. I want to ensure you're able to resubscribe to payroll.

If you log in via CAMPs inside your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and got an error, this time, try logging in thru a web browser. From there, you can log in to the Account Management portal to update your billing and subscription so you can get back to business in no time.

Here's how:

  1. Go to this link http://camps.intuit.com.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Under Product and Services, select your subscription.
  4. Click Details.
  5. Select your subscription in the Billing Information section.
  6. Enter the changes in your payment information.
  7. Click Save and Close.

Once done and able to go thru, log back into the Accounts Management portal inside your QBDT account to verify the status of your payroll subscription. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Employees menu at the top.
  2. Select My Payroll Service.
  3. Click on Manage Service Key.
  4. In the Status column, verify if it says Active.

You can also view your subscription status by pressing CTRL + K on your keyboard.

But if the same error occurs, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team to determine the cause of the issue as they have the specific tool to check account details and subscription status.

To reach them, here's how:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the Help menu at the top.
  3. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help
  4. Type Contact Us in the search box. Then, click on Contact Us at the bottom.
  5. Select the way you wish to connect with support.

You can also check out this link for more information on how to contact them: Contact Payroll support. Ensure to review their support hours, so you'll know when agents are available.

Additionally, to learn more about reactivating your QuickBooks subscription and using CAMPs, check out these articles:

Please let me know how it goes or if you need anything else moving forward. We're here to help. Take care and have a great day.

I have already done these steps.  It's not just payroll that is an issue, I also do not see the latest QB, 2022.  This has been an ongoing issue and is unacceptable.

Greetings, @LMKetchum. I appreciate you for following all the suggestions shared by my colleague.

Since you've previously tried my colleague's suggestions and still get the same issue, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team. They'll be able to access your account and walk you through the process.

Here's how:

  1. At the top menu bar click Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief description of your issue, then click Let's talk, and then choose a way to connect.
  4. You can select either to Message an Agent or Talk to a Specialist.

Check out this article for QuickBooks support hours: Contact QuickBooks Desktop Support.

If you want use the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) for QuickBooks Desktop, you can click this article.

Feel free to comment down below if you have additional information or clarification on updating your QuickBooks account. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Enjoy your day!

I havew had the same issue as well.  I wish sine Intuit merged all of the accounts at first and now has separated them again from Quicken to QB and Turbotax and now Camp.  Nothing is synced. I cannot have multiple IDs under one account which makes this frustrating.

I have Quickbooks Desktop 2021 and 2022 licensed version.  It keep telling me that Mandatory updates need to be done. But does not do. WTF this makes me not to want to go on line even more.  We have never been able to go online because the job costing is not supported.   All I want to do is to log into my bak and download transcations.  Now 3 hrs later I cannot do.  Who do I bill for my wasted time???

Welcome to the Community, @LM83.

Let me address your concerns regarding your concerns with your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

When using Intuit Accounts, merging multiple accounts isn’t allowed for one’s privacy and security. It is best to use the same Intuit Account, may it be in TurboTax or QuickBooks. That’ll help our product run better for better for you, and ensure that all your data is safe in one account.

Furthermore, the QBDT 2021 and 2022 licensed version is still supported, with this downloading the product updates and getting your banking transactions is still possible.

With that, I would like to ask what happens when you update your product and download your bank transactions so we can further assess and find the proper solution.

Furthermore, I recommend reading these articles that have a comprehensive guide on fixing update and banking errors in QBDT:

·        Fix OL and OLSU Bank Feeds errors in QuickBooks Desktop

Let me know in the comment below if you have additional information to provide and if you have more questions about managing your account in QBDT. I’m just a post away.
