Can fields be moved and renamed in the new invoice layout?

Can fields be moved in the new invoice layout? For example can the Invoice Details be moved to the upper right corner like in the older layout to consolidate the information on the invoice?

Also, can the field headers be renamed? For example the "Note to customer" header be changed to Notes or Details, etc?

We understand how it's convenient to move and rename the fields in the new invoice layout. 

 

As of the moment, this feature is unavailable to QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, we would love to hear your ideas about it by sending us feedback. This way, we can improve your experience with QBO, and your valuable feedback will be shared with our Product Development Team. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit. 

 

As a workaround, we can switch to the old layout, so you can work on your invoices a lot easier. 

 

Perform the following: 

  1. Go to the + New.
  2. Select Invoice. 
  3. On the right corner, clickOld Layout.
