Can i delete an expenditure type not needed in online quick books

Hello there, @caspproject. Let me share some insights about deleting accounts in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) chart of accounts.

When you set up your company in QBO, the system automatically generates certain default accounts in your chart of accounts based on the type of business you've chosen. It’s important to understand that some of these default accounts can’t be altered or deleted.

If you need to remove an expenditure or expense type of account from your chart of accounts you no longer use, you can do so by inactivating them since we don't have an option to permanently delete this one. Making an account inactive doesn't remove its transactions, it just stays intact. The same goes for the Stock Asset which is a default account. That said, deleting it is not possible. QuickBooks created this account automatically to use it for a specific purpose. 

When you're ready to make an account inactive, follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Chart of Accounts.
2. Find the account you want to delete.
3. Select the Action ▼ dropdown and select Make inactive.
