Can I install QB Enterprise Desktop database with public hosting such as GoDaddy or AWS or Google?

You may install QBD on any VPS service but I wouldn't recommend to do so. Once you encountered any technical issue with QBD, they won't help you and you have to resolve by your own effort with Intuit Support.

 

You may have 2 options:

1. Deploy a private cloud. You may combine LAN users and remote users working on the same file at the same time.

2. Put your license and company file(s) on an authorized QB cloud hosting.

I'm here to share information about installing QuickBooks with hosting, jrcscarrillo1.

 

You'll need to contact GoDaddy, AWS, or Google if they allow QuickBooks to be installed using these services. 

 

In QuickBooks Desktop, we have a list of hosting providers that lets you install and store QuickBooks files. Please refer to this page for additional information and check the list of companies: What hosting providers are authorized by Intuit?

 

And, here are the things you need to prepare for the installation:

 

  1. Make sure your computer meets the system requirements.
  2. If you haven’t already, download your version of QuickBooks Desktop. 
  3. Have your product and license numbers.
  4. Then, you can start installing QuickBooks.
