Can I sign up for QuickBooks Online Accountant and complete ProAdvisor certification from Indonesia?

Hi everyone,

I'm a bookkeeper based in Indonesia with around five years of experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, bank reconciliation and month-end close. Most of my hands-on software experience is in Xero, and I'm now working with clients who use QuickBooks Online, so I'd like to get properly certified as a ProAdvisor.

Before I sign up I want to make sure I'm doing this the right way, because Indonesia isn't listed as a supported region on the QuickBooks site. A few questions:

1. Can I create a free QuickBooks Online Accountant account from Indonesia, or is signup restricted by country/IP?
2. If I can sign up, which version should I choose — the Global/International edition, or the US edition? I mainly want to work with Australian and US-based clients.
3. Is the ProAdvisor training and certification exam accessible from outside the supported countries, or is the ProAdvisor portal geo-restricted?
4. Does the certification badge differ depending on which regional version I certify in (e.g. QBO Global vs QBO US)? Would a Global certification still be recognised by clients in Australia or the US?
5. Are there any known issues with billing, phone verification, or account setup when registering with a non-supported country address?

I'd rather set this up correctly the first time than have an account flagged or lose access to my training progress later. Any advice from accountants or bookkeepers based outside the main supported regions would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
