Question

Can information be added to printed deposit slips, and can the vertical spacing of the text be modified?

Check numbers are not printed on the deposit slips, and the vertical spacing of the amounts is slightly wider than the spacing on the preprinted tickets from Quickbooks.

Hello there, cgsltreasurer1.

I'll be providing troubleshooting steps to ensure that all information on the transaction in QuickBooks, such as check numbers, is printed efficiently.

Once you encounter issues in printing in the program such as check numbers not printed on the deposit slips, updating Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version or repairing your Adobe installation can resolve this.

The process should only take a couple of minutes. To begin, visit this site to update the Adobe Reader: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/install-updates-reader-acrobat.html.

If updating to the latest version of Adobe Reader/Acrobat hasn’t fixed the problem, you'll need to repair your Adobe installation.

Here's how:

  1. Close Acrobat/Reader and all open web browser windows.
  2. Select the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
  3. Type Control Panel and press Enter.
  4. Choose Programs and Features.
  5. Select Acrobat or Adobe Reader, then Uninstall/Change.
  6. From the Setup dialog box, click Next.
  7. Select Repair, then Next.
  8. Select Install.
  9. When the process is complete, choose Finish.
  10. Restart your computer.
  11. Log back into QuickBooks Online, then try to print.

If the issue persists, you need to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader on your end. You can refer to this artilcle on how to perform the process: How to update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat.

In case you getting other errors and unexpected results when printing entries in QBO, you can read this article to see different methods to be taken to fix them: Fix QuickBooks Online printing issues on browsers for Windows.

Please know that you can always get back to this post if you have any other questions about printing transactions in QBO. I'll keep an eye on your response, cgsltreasurer. Have a good one.
