Question

Can someone provide assistance. I'm getting error msg: We’re having trouble getting your bank data. Please try again later. (355). My bank is PNC. No QB support today.

I was working in quickbooks yesterday without issue.  My accounts have an orange "i icon" 15 hours ago.

This error means that only partial information is pulled through from a bank's API, thus throwing an account in error state 355. To get this fix, let's run a bank update to refresh the connection.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click Bank transactions on the left menu.
  2. Select the appropriate bank account from the list.
  3. Click the Update button.

 

If the issue persists, let's update your sign-in information to reconnect your bank account. Let me walk you through the steps.

 

  1. On the Bank transactions page, select the bank account in question.
  2. Select the edit (pencil) icon.
  3. Click Edit account info.
  4. Input your login credentials, then click Save and Close.
