I'll share are some information regarding snapping receipts in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

The receipt snap feature allows you to categorize and track uploaded expense receipts and bills in QBO. However, only the primary and company admin users can access it. This goes to entering banking or credit card information as well.


Let's make sure you're having this user access to use this feature. You can learn more about the different options for user roles and access permissions by visiting this article: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.

 

If you're not the master admin of the account, you can reach out to him to change your permission. Here are the steps on how to change user role access in QuickBooks:

 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙.
  2. Select Manage users.
  3. Find the user you want to edit. Then, select Edit in the Action column.
  4. Choose the user type from the User type ▼drop-down list.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Ask the user to sign out and sign in again into QuickBooks Online to see the updates.
