Question

can't resize Make Deposits window - it's too big

The minimum size of the  Make Deposits is too large. Why can't I make it smaller? All other windows can be resized to be much smaller than the minimum size of the Make Deposits window. This is extremely frustrating.

I would feel frustrated as well if something isn't working as expected, @LT User. Let me chime in and provide some steps on how to fix screen issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

Before adjusting any Windows settings, let's change your display and view preferences in QuickBooks.

  1. Close QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Open the Windows Start menu.
  3. Type QuickBooks into the search. Then right-click the QuickBooks icon and select Open file location.
  4. In the folder, right-click the QuickBooks.exe file and choose Properties.
  5. Proceed to the Compatibility tab.
  6. Click the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings checkbox. You can also choose Change high DPI settings and then Override high DPI scaling behavior.
  7. Click Apply and then OK.

If issue persists, we can adjust your view preferences in QuickBooks.

  1. In QuickBooks, proceed to the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
  2. Click Desktop View from the list and then the My Preferences tab.
  3. In the View section, select the One Window option.
  4. Lastly, select OK.

Have the same problem for last few weeks.

Did all 3 of the proposed solutions, without effect.

Have had this issue before and there was some sort of fix, but it has been a few years.
