Can you force Assemblies to build when Invoiced?

We have QB Enterprise Manufacturer and Wholesale edition and we sell both parts and assemblies. We sell assemblies before they are built  and I am fine allowing Assembly line items to go negative. However, it is time consuming to go back and Build Assemblies for each line item that goes negative. I am fine with allowing sales people to Invoice assemblies before they are built and for Assembly items to go negative but what would be a huge time saver is if QB automatically built the Assembly (when possible) when the Assembly was invoiced. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you for the clarification, @BR15.

As of the moment, the manual process in building assembly is the only available option. However, QuickBooks Desktop works with some third party application which allows you to auto-build Assemblies.

Hi there, BR15.

An Assembly item will not build at an earlier date if there is no qty on hand, you're unable to order items at present and build it before that receive date. When you sell to a negative inventory, the asset value is lowered by the present cost posting it to COGS. That value may have been right when buying a replacement stock.

Thanks for your quick reply. I should have been more clear. I am not concerned at all about the financial issues relative to COGS/ Inventory asset. I am merely trying to avoid the time consuming manual process of finding each negative assembly and building that assembly. The parts are in stock for these assemblies but because I have not built the assemblies before they are invoiced, the assembly goes negative. Then I have to manually right click on it, choose Build Assembly, and build the assembly. It seems like there may be an option in QB that assemblies could automatically build when invoiced as opposed to going negative until I manually build them.  I am hopeful someone can give me good news!
