You need to create a new company file on QBD 2019 and use a 3rd party tool to migrate data manually from your QBD 2022 version.

Fiat Lux – ASIA is correct about creating a new company file in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). After that, you can restore your backup file to retrieve your data. However, since you previously used QBDT 2022 Pro, you can expect that there are features that will not be available in the 2019 version. Thus, utilizing a migration tool would be necessary.

Here’s how you can restore your backup company file:

  1. Go to the File menu in QuickBooks and choose Open or Restore Company.
  2. Then click Next after choosing Restore a backup copy.
  3. Choose Local Backup, then click Next.
  4. Find your backup company file by searching your PC. The format should be [Your company name].qbb.
  5. To choose where to save your repaired company file, select a folder. Then select Open.
  6. Choose Save when you are prepared.
