Cannot edit expenses. I am the admin.ERROR STARTED TODAY

I am the admn of my account and I had the following error reconciling an expense: "You can't edit this expense. Ask your admin for edit access if you need to make any changes." I think this is an error, it was working until Friday.

Since you're facing this error on your end, we can perform these troubleshooting steps to check if it's a browser-related issue. We can start by logging into your QBO account using a private window as it ignores the stored cache that affects the program's behavior when managing expenses.

 

You can use the keyboard shortcuts below:

 

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

 

If it works in your incognito, return to your regular browser and clear its cache. Otherwise, you can use other supported browsers as an alternative.
