Change Customer Label in QuickBooks Desktop?

I have QuickBooks Desktop Premiere Nonprofit and I'd like to change the label "Customers" to "Donors." I found instructions to do it for QB Online but not for Desktop. Is there a way to do it?

Hello there, @Chri3s.

 

At this time, we don't have an option to change the label from customer to donor in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). It's only available if you use the QuickBooks Online (QBO) version. 

 

I can see how this feature would be beneficial to your business. In the meantime, I suggest sending feedback straight to our product engineers. 

 

To send feedback, here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu at the top.
  2. Select Send Feedback Online.
  3. Click Product Suggestion.
  4. Choose a feedback type and product area on the QuickBooks Feedback window. 
  5. Enter your feedback, name, and email address (optional).
  6. Once done, click on the Send Feedback button.

 

You may also visit this page or go to the What's New section on your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to get updates on our latest news including product improvements.
