Changes to 'Project' email field prevent listing multiple email addresses

QuickBooks has recently implemented a change to the "Projects" feature which has caused substantial billing issues with some of our clients. A "Client" or "Customer" can have multiple email addresses listed, CC, and BCC fields.   When you create an invoice associated with a Client, the invoice automatically inherits the email, CC, and BCC fields.

Recently, changes to "Project" definition now only allows a single email address. The "Email" field in the Project definition now prevents the use of comma and space, which prevents users from inputting multiple email addresses. The field format control was likely implemented to cut down on improperly formatted email addresses and bounced email invoices, but it has had the side effect of eliminating an important functionality of Projects.

Each Project for a Client might have different billing instructions, so it is convenient to set up all the recipients of the billing for each project at the time the project is created. Then we never had to go back to the Purchase Order billing instructions because each Project invoice will be automatically created with the correct email distribution. Since QBO implemented this change, we have made many billing errors resulting in delayed receipts. I contacted QuickBooks support about this issue/change, and they basically told me "you have to do it manually now." I am seeking an explanation to how this change has improved the quality of the QBO product. We either have to go back to using "Clients" for every project (like we did prior to Projects functionality existing ~2023) and abandon any of the project tracking functionality, or we remember to manually look up the billing instruction email distribution for each project every time we want to send an invoice out and continue to suffer inefficiency and billing errors.

Please consider rolling back this Email field format rule change. Better yet, implement the same fields and behavior that exists for "Clients" so that we can specify Email, CC, and BCC fields for each project.  A client might be a massive company with very general contact information, but a Project is very specific and often times we must CC the customer project manager, the customer project engineers, as well as email the customer accounts payable department.
