Changing email address

Just curious .... I am currently a level 6. If I were to change positions or company affiliation, how to I retain my "level" when I have a new address? I have used QB Desktop for some years at multiple organizations, and I have no idea what my "level" would be if all my historical activity was in one place. It seems I should have used a personal email address & name, but alas, "too soon old, too late schmart".

 

Is there a place where I can change my profile so at least now my level will go with me wherever I go?

Yes, I am an accountant at a current location, and my wife and I are planning on starting a bookkeeping service. I have many years experience with various Desktop versions, including Enterprise, and QB payroll, and we are working on QBO certification. I am currently driving around 50 miles (1 way) and look forward to working remote from home offices. I am currently a Level 6, only because each time I started a new employer I started over with Community Forum. I should have asked how to transfer and retain my level years ago, but ...

You can change your Community profile email without affecting your level. I'm including some steps to walk you through the process below. 

 

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of your screen. 
  2. Tap on Manage your Intuit Account. 
  3. Select Sign in and Security. 
  4. Tap on Email Address. 
  5. Enter your new email under the current one. Then, save your changes.
