Client List not organized with Sub Customers under Parent

In my client list, I would like to see each sub-customer nested underneath the parent, but they are all over the place and appear "orphaned" in the list even if they are clicked to "bill with a parent." My list looks disorganized, and rather than doing one search for the parent and expecting to see all the subs, I have to do multiple searches to find what should be easily connected. Is there a setting that has been missed?

Let me provide some details about this jlm7.

 

When you said you want each sub-customer nested under the parent account, do you mean you want them to show under the parent account in the customer's tab? If so, I've added 2 sub-customers under a parent customer and found out that it is showing the way it is. The only thing that you may notice is that sub-customers are usually indented under a parent customer. Please see the screenshot below:

 

 

On the other hand, if you're trying to search for a parent account, you'll see the sub-customer showing under the parent customer. 

 

You only have to make sure that you've ticked the Is a sub-customer box so that those labeled as sub-customers will correctly appear on the list.
