Client Payment

I received a Check payment from my client on 02/18/23 through Quickbook invoice I sent it to my Quickbook checking and the invoice stated order was deposited but I do not see anything about the Party is this Saturday and I need to Place orders and pay Vendors. I need to know if the check went through or declined

Hi there, @inspiredbygracee.

 

To clarify, are you using QuickBooks Payments? If so, are you new to using it? 

 

QuickBooks Payments will deposit your first set of payments (sometimes referred to as a batch) within 5 business days. These early deposits take a bit longer while your account is being set up. Once we set up everything, we'll deposit customer payments much faster. I've included some steps to review your current deposits below. 

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Get paid & pay and select the Deposits.
  3. Choose the bank deposit you want to review.

 

Please know if there's ever an issue with a payment, it won't show up in a daily deposit. You should receive an email from Intuit if there's ever an issue. 

 

If you checked the payment status and we deposited the payments, your money is on its way. Keep in mind, some banks will hold onto funds after we deposit them. At this point, you'll need to work with your bank to see if they require additional steps.
