Is it safe to delete the CLSClientLogger.log file? It is currently sitting at over 10GB and want to delete it from our drive.

Welcome to the Community space, cethomas. Let me provide you with information about deleting the CLSClientLogger Log File in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

In QuickBooks, CLSClientLogger Log File records error messages and diagnostic information. It also helps users and support teams in identifying problems that occur when QuickBooks interacts with other services or components.

For comprehensive guidance, I suggest reaching out to our live technical support for detailed information. They have the expertise to know which files are safe to delete and which are not.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Write your question in the Search bar.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief description of your concern and hit Continue.
  5. Select to chat with us or Have us call you.

Moreover, I've added this article as your reference in case you want to back up your accounting data in QBDT: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
