Contractor Payroll

Hey Community - if you signed up for Premium Payroll and were promised 24/7 support (which is still on Intuit's website promised for Premium Payroll subscribers), how are you getting that?  I keep getting a "channels closed" message on the bot.  The sales person told me that offshore support would be made available and there's pretty much zero support.  This is on top of the terrible on-boarding support I received.  This whole experience getting started with Quickbooks is very frustrating.  Now I am just trying to figure out how to pay a contractor with a paper check, which I found, but their hours entered in Workforce are not coming through to the online system.  How can I get the hours in Workforce to flow through to the Payroll module?

Also - if someone from Intuit responds, PLEASE tell me how I get my promised 24/7 support.

This isn’t the experience we want you to have when using QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll, MCRI. Let me provide clarification to help you better understand how time entries work between QuickBooks Time (Workforce) and QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Please note that when creating time in QuickBooks Time the hours or time will automatically be reflected in QBO in the Time entries page.  Additionally, when paying the contractor or when creating a paper check, the time won't be added automatically or won't sync. You have to calculate or input the hours manually when paying your contractors.

You can also refer to this article for guidance on how to pay your contractors via paper check: Pay a contractor with a paper check.

However, if it doesn't appear on the time entries page in QBO, please ensure that the filters used are correct, particularly the date range. This could be one reason why it is not showing.

For assistance with our products and services, please refer to this dedicated article for detailed steps on how to contact our support team: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.

Lastly, I'll provide this article for guidance on how to print paychecks or paystubs in QBOP: Print or reprint paychecks and pay stubs.

Stay in touch by replying to this thread with any follow-up questions handling contractors' time entries in QBOP and QuickBooks Time, MCRI. We're always here to help you.
