Contractor social security numbers are missing on everyone. Some people we have had in our QBO for years with full SS# and now they only show last 4 digits .... need them to file. NOT filing with QB so need them. This is not the employees that is all fine.

I have a way on how you'll be able to view your contractor's SSSN, 513 Main.

In most places in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, you'll only see the last four digits of your Contractor's Social Security numbers. You can pull the Vendor Contact List report to access the information. Let me walk you through how:

  1. Go to the Reports tab, and search for the Vendor Contact List.
  2. Click Customize on the upper right, and click the Change columns hyperlink.
  3. Tick the Tax ID box.
  4. Hit Run report.

Furthermore, the information your customers see on sales forms and invoices depends on what you set up in your account. You may want to edit your data to make sure everything is updated. I've got this information for your reference: Change Your Business Name, Contact Information, or EIN In QuickBooks Online.
