converting an estimate to an invoice

I understand the importance of converting the correct estimate to an invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To ensure that you'll get to change the invoice back to an estimate, you may have to delete the created invoice and then recreate the estimate.

To delete an invoice, here's how:

1. On your QBO account, go to the Sales tab, then select Invoices.
2. Locate the errored invoice.
3. On the Action dropdown, click on Delete.
   
   
   
   
4. Once ready, select Yes.
   
   
    

   

Once the invoice is deleted, you can then recreate the estimate in QBO.
