Converting QB Desktop Pro 2018 To QB Online

Hi there,

We're looking to move online and want to know:

- can the version of QB we're using now, QB Desktop Pro 2018, be converted to QB Online without any further updating?  Are there advantages to upgrading to the latest desktop version first?
- will all the history (ledgers, trial balances, accounts, etc) of the desktop version be available in the QB Online world?  Is there any aspect that doesn't convert?

If you want to migrate data to QBO CA version, explore this following reference

If you need to migrate data including non-post transactions (e.g purchase order, quote/estimate), or attachments or your Total Targets > 350K; consider to purchase another 3rd party conversion service.

This is US Community but I noticed you are located in Canada. Do you need to migrate data from QB Desktop CA version to QB Online CA version, or else?

Thanks for the reply.  I'm not in front of the computer right now but, yes, I suspect that it would be a Canadian version of QB.  Does that make a difference?
