I recorded transactions as a credit credit credit instead of a expense. DO I have to void all and start again or is there a way to change them?

Hi there, @rs04.

Allow me to share some insights on how to handle recorded credit card credit instead of an expense.

Currently, we're unable to change a transaction's type from a credit card credit to an expense. It is best to void all erroneously entered credit card credit transactions.

Afterward, manually record them as expenses in QBO to ensure their proper inclusion in your financial reports.

  1. Select the + New button and choose Expense.
  2. Enter all the details of the transaction.
  3. Make sure to select the credit card account in the Payment Account field.
  4. Click Save and Close.

If you ever need to record billable expenses in the future, feel free to access this link for comprehensive instructions and information: Enter billable expenses.

Please keep in touch if you have additional questions about recording transactions in QBO. I am here to provide continuous assistance.
