Credit card cash advances

This client does cc cash advances to his checking account. Howdo one account for that? Any ideas are appreciated.

You can record it as a transfer (New > Transfer).  Select the cc as the 'From' account and the checking account as the 'To' account.  That will increase both the cc balance and the checking account balance.
